Samantha is a Program Manager for Corporate Kids Events with an
educational background in Early Childhood Education and over 10 years in
personal and professional childcare experience. Born and raised on the
Central Coast of California, she currently works as a Nanny to a lovely
young family while also working as a Camp & After-School Leader for the
YMCA. In the Fall of 2016, Samantha started back at school to further her
education with a degree in Business, in the hopes of one day opening a
hospitality focused venture abroad. She currently lives with her 5 year old
daughter Jaz and spends her free time ocean fishing and coaching her
daughter’s tee-ball team.
Teona, National Program Manager
Teona Burroughs has been a program manager for corporate kids events since 2009. She has worked many events across the United States. She has been an elementary school teacher in the Tampa area at a Christian private school for grades first and second. For the past 3 years she has been a preschool director in the Brandon/Riverview area. Teona was born and raised in Riverview where she resides with her dog Monica and close to her family and friends. She currently resides in a suburb of Tampa, Riverview.
Teona Burroughs has college degree in Elementary Educatiom and she is continuing her education currently at the University of Phoenix. She is the preschool director of a large preschool in Tampa but has also taught elementary school students.
Kristi, National Program Manager
Kristi is a Corporate Kids Program Manager. She has been with Corporate Kids for five years. Kristi’s professional background is as a Speech/Language Pathologist. She has worked in a hospital setting, clinical setting, private home-based therapy, and is currently a school base speech therapist. Kristi received her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University and her masters degree from Nova Southeastern University. Kristi is originally from Sandusky, Michigan. She currently lives in Chandler, Arizona with her husband Craig and cat Chip. Having attended JA Conference in 2014 in Keystone, Colorado, Kristi is excited to be part of this year’s event.
Stacey Woodzell, National Event Planning Manager
Stacey is Corporate Kids Events National Event Planning Manager. Her role includes planning, scheduling, and leading events. Stacey’s background is in hospitality and childcare. She has a 2-year certification in Early Childhood Education and 25 years’ experience working with children in a school, childcare and camp setting. Stacey has worked with many family, corporate and foundation groups in her 25 years working in the resort business. Stacey lives in Hot Springs, Virginia with her husband Brandon of 24 years, her son Blake, daughter Layni and 2 Mini Schnauzers. She enjoys reading, spending time at the lake, and taking long walks in her free time.
Chris, National Program Manager
Chris grew up in Ames, Iowa. She graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Chris taught in Wyoming for many years and moved back to the Denver area in 1989 where she retired from teaching in 2006 but has enjoyed staying connected to education through tutoring, substitute teaching and being part of several national assessment projects. Having recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of moving permanently from Denver to the Colorado Rockies, she has found a niche at Keystone Resort where she enjoys volunteering during the winter ski season and the beautiful summer season.. She has been an event manager with CKE since 2008.
