Garen is the Corporate Kids Events, President and Owner. His role at CKE includes overseeing the CKE management team, childcare event contracting, planning, scheduling, and marketing.
Garen’s professional background includes children’s recreation and daycare, with positions ranging from city director of youth recreation, director of childcare for a hospital, summer camp director, and teambuilding/ropes course designer and facilitator.
Garen holds a BS in Recreation Administration with a Minor in Human Resource Management. He has completed several Teambuilding Certification Programs and has received training to oversee daycare facilities in the State of California. Garen has been coaching high school basketball for a number of years and worked as a substitute teacher early in his career.
Garen currently lives in Grass Valley, CA, and his son Sam recently left the nest to study Nutritional Science at California State University Chico. Most of his free time is spent playing golf, and softball and enjoying all the recreational activities and adventures Northern California has to offer.
